The highlight of this doggy fashionista’s calendar is Bubble. Twice a year anyone who is anyone in the world of children’s clothing takes to the stage and exhibits their next season’s collection. Held in London last week, it attracted designers from across the globe and included anything from socks to party frocks, and everything in between.

The cold, gloomy weather and soggy paws made it all the easier to think about what our little ones should be wearing next Winter.  The “Must Have” lists include the bright, retro knits from Tootsa MacGinty which cleverly depict all time favourites nursery rhymes like the Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks. The thick collegiate knit blankets and booties from Toffee Moon were just made for snuggling under and should be on every newborn’s wish list.

Green Baby too excelled themselves this season, with fabulous padded sleeved quilted jackets for both babies and kids, just perfect for Winter walks and doggy exercise! The new baby range from pyjama designer, Pixie Dixie definitely deserves a big bark as it is just perfect for this Jubilee and Olympic year. With bus baby-grows and soldier rompers – we have to all stand to attention and take note of this brilliant nightwear designer.

Finally and VERY importantly there was a canine (ish) theme. Foxes – love them or hate them, they will be big news by the end of 2012.
